M5g Vs the Gigabyte G1 Sniper M3 or Your Choice of Z77 Motherboard

Hi guys ,
Wanted to buy one from these two , but if you got any third choice , feel free to point out .
Budget 15k , processor : 3570k .

1. Gigabyte G1 sniper m3 .
2. Asus Maximus v gene z77 .

I was leaning towards the gene but I have heard many problems with the gene z77 boards out there .
I tried to google but found no proper answer . The price difference in India is almost 5k , it makes it the sniper might tempting but still I want the following help . 5k , are you kidding me , its huge but again , if it can't give me the best overclocks , sorry then .

1. Overclocking comparison ? .
This is very important , I am going to push the processor as much as I can with my H100 .

2. Feature comparison ? .
I read that the sniper actually has much better onboard audio with creative chip .
But that is not my primary concern , my motherboard should support my processor to the max ! .

Another thing is Rashi scares me , gigabyte has very good service I have heard . Another thing I have heard is they hardly fail in first place .

Between those 2 Gigabyte G1 sniper m3. I don't recommend Asus products anymore because of rashi. You can also have a look at ASRock Z77 Extreme9 Its one hell of a board but it may exceed your budget. Also it got 2 massive heatsinks which may interfere with H100.

The ASRock Z77 Extreme9 will cost north of 25k bro - it will directly compete with boards such as Gigabyte G1 Sniper3 and MSI Z77 MPower. It's a beastly board for sure, has PLX chips for Quad SLI/CrossFire, dual Lan, onboard MSATA module for Bluetooth and Wifi and the list goes on and on and on..

But this is what the G1 Sniper3 also has - so the competition is fierce.

Between the Maximus V Gene, and G1 Sniper M3, Asus is more robust one, while Gigabyte will save you unnecessary hassles from Rashi and the lot.

Thanks a lot . H100 is a done deal , I would prefer something that fits it happily .
15k + Rs 500 is the max I can muster for the motherboard .

Asrock is rocking nowadays in technology bro, It's making best MoBo. So if think of buying Asrock MOBo, then don't hesitate. Just grab it OK.

Correct.. Asrock Z77 extreme 4 is a big hit and this OC Formula is giving all (even more) Asus Sabertooth features at 2-3k less

Thanks for replying bro ,
my main criteria is overclocking .
Gigabyte has more features specially the onboard audio outclasses most on board audio , its an original creative audio chip unline in v gene which only has realtech . The FXIII is one of the biggest gimmicks I feel .
But my main critieria is overclocking .
I want to overclock maximum I can with my i5 3570 k . If I dont like to on board audio , will put a 1-1.5 k soundcard in there .
So please suggest the best overclocker out there .

Gigabyte only has 4 pin power input , that people say limits it to moderate overclocks , not those extreme overclocks .
Am looking at 4.5 Ghz and more .
I see you also have a gene , are you satisfied with it ? .

Thanks bro , Asrock Pro4 is a good board but the Extreme4 althought popular has a lot of problems . Then Extreme6 might be fine , anyways will avoid asrock .

OC formula is too expensive my dear Sir . Wish I had that budget .
You are a dealer so you have good knowledge , which boards are reliable and better overclockers .

@Sumonpathak ,

Any idea on this sir ? . Asking this as overclocking is your fav department I guess .
Please give some opinion .

I have tried my hands on overclocking potential of Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 and 6 and it has amazing bios with good OC potential.
