Would You Shift Out of India if You Had an Option ?

Question is simple, Would you shift out of India (to a supposedly better country) if you had an option ?
Whatever be your answer, please give reasoning of the same if possible.

PS: I had opened a similar thread on another competitive forum where the response was very good. Starting a similar thread here too. I do know we have many common members.

Definitely, and if they put me up for a country with cold climate like canada, or the Scandinavian countries I'd switch in a heartbeat. I can't stand the heat, my dream place to live in is in norway/finland/denmark/sweden and germany as well.

PS: Hoping TCS would send me up there after a few years.

Yes, I want to be a theoratical physicist or an Aerospace engineer and then give NASA exam

The quality of education is better outside, in India they believe grinding is the key, but in foreign universities they rely on conceptual clarity and at the same time people get time for personality developement and lesuire.

This.
Thank god, you don't wanna be a Literary artist of any kind.
And yes, in a heartbeat, if given a chance. My locations of choice are Sweden, UK and lastly USA.
Right now, education system is just about what you can memorize, not what you can apply.

Indian education system is based on how much you can memorize and vomit in an exam hall, the three toppers from my college didn't even crack accenture drive while a bunch of us mediocre students got through

Memorizing and Grinding, thats it lol, I was thinking of joining IISC banglore but I don't have faith in Indian system, I don't want to memorize stuff, I actually want to learn physics.
I hardly attend any lectures lol I just watch MIT courseware lectures on yourtube, they give conceptual clarity, that helps me maintain my rank in the tests.

I want to give SAT, but my dad wants me to do graduation from IIT , he wants me to get that IITian tag.
And when I study for JEE prep I lag behind on vocabulary, I gave SAT-2 Physics and chemistry both in december 2012 and got 800/800 in both. I am not worried about subject wise tests, its the vocabulary that will bottleneck my admission in a good Univ.

In all honesty, SAT Physics and Chemistry aren't that hard. I've solved a fair amount of question papers and it seems like a joke especially if you're being prepared for places like IIT.

Lol dude SAT-2 really is a joke when you compare it with JEE, but you still need conceptual clarity to score good in them.
