Howdy People,
I have a small(supposedly) problem.
After continous net usage, at times I find that I am unable to browse via my Airtel connection. The ADSL router is Beetel's BXi 450.
Situation is a little hilarious and frustrating at the same time.
I can ping to the world, to google.com to everybody in outside world but I cannot browse

. Haah... yes that sounds pretty weird.
Running a tcpdump session on my interface shows that when i ping to the outside world the IP packet goes out with DF(don't fragment) flag set and i get a reply back. But when i browse the TCP packet has none of the flags set, and i get a host unreachable message in tcpdump logs

.
I was just wondering if any of you guys face/faced this weird looking problem.
Looks like someone(router I guess) is either breaking down my packets to match the size it supports on WAN interface or it is not able to route my packet properly.
I know bad analysis.
Also during these times I am not even able to browse to router's ip via my browser. This makes it more frustrating.
I use 64 bit Linux kernel(ignore the apps part). Plus sometimes I may run few virtual machines on my 6.5.1 workstation.
Only soultion is stick both hands , pray and reboot. It may or may not work at times.
Any help guys?
Thanks,
