^^^ just got the registration thing done....it's a pretty good option to buy light weight and small stuff that KMD will not get for you...I think KMD's pricing formula still makes more sense.

The way it works is that they create a virtual identity of yours in the US of A with an address and stuff...which is their Office Address. Once the vendor ships the items to that address they ship it to you...but shipping charges are pretty steep especially if the item is heavy. Used the calculator feature:

shipping is steepish... overall can be trusted.. is run by Singapore Post. nd they are VERY reliable.

Got it in the mail today from ICICI Bank promotions....in India it's backed by and promoted by ICICI Bank or probably it's credit card wing....so trust worthy....but they are mostly encouraging sites like amazon,etc and are targetting customers who are looking forward to mainly importing small consumer durables, book, cds, etc....stuff that's aint available here.....no mention of geeky items of interest but then again they didnt say anywhere that they wont be shipping computer items...
