urgent help!

elite pro Remote control Thumbwheel buttons not working all four buttons

CMSS-3D,EAX, 24bit,midi

when i configure speakers(Z5500) there is no sound from Rear and SUB

About the rear sound not working, configure the speakers from speaker settings and select 5.1 channel. I am sure yours is in 2.1 mode.

Not sure about the remote thing.

already selected 5.1 channel, from configure speakers test wizard rear speakers and sub sound come from front speakers

You mean while in the speaker test, the front speakers SPEAK twice, once for the fronts and once for the rears ?

Man thats strange. I am sure there is something to do with the connections. Can you make sure that the connections have done in the right way ?

Did you do the same setting in the control pod of the speakers also if there is something like that in z-5500?

Also start the x-fi wizard again and configure.

tried many times

nothing worked rear right and left sound from front speakers

^^ i have got this issue several times with my x-fi xtreme music.. Usually a PC restart or driver reinstall or reconfiguring finally resolves it. But I have only analog speakers though it shouldn't matter as you are currently using analogue connections for speaker test.

Can you try this b4 doing the things mentioned above? Go to THX console-->channel assignment-->reassign

If I am seeing it right, if you are using the optical out, you dont need to use the analog cables (those green black orange ones). There is a button on the right of optical out saying "6ch direct". Turn it on and your 6ch should work, only on Optical out.

^^ he is doing speaker test which cannot use optical connection.. It comes out through analogue outputs..
