Dude !! I have been reading your thread since you put it up !! but didn't comment coz the advices given were quite good..
but now as you pointed out this link, I must reply, all these shortcuts and gadgets of spot fat reduction are just BS !! nothing else..
the only and the most important thing to loose weight or fat or reduce your girth or waist is RUNNING !! just run and run and run.. till there is no 2moro.. keep it up for a couple of weeks and you will be hapy and satisfied not to mention satisfied and full of energy to go at it again.. but bear in mind that these couple of weeks will be hell of aches and pains.. but there is not a easy way out..
eat in moderation, divide your food intake as said by Aumkar ( ha aha ha ha !! and not Aumkumar ) and you will be delilghted..
don't even think of stopping between these weeks.. !!!

ab exercises dont reduce the belly , they just increase the muscles , no amount of crunches and stuff can make u slim

the only thing tht id like to change is the fact tht u should not just run newhere !!!
i aint joking , dont run on the roads, find a proper soft ground to run+ good shoes [grass or red sand etc etc]
the reason im saying tht is cause running alot on the roads may cause knee probs , which will bother u alot
[same goes for skipping]

your body should only tier , it should not b in pain
tht can b avoided too by properly stretching before and after the workout
search for static and dynamic stretching for more info

^ dude that is wrong...you just can't run all the time. sooner or later your body will get used to it. then instead of losing much weight you will hit a plateau and just start building stamina after it.
You have to mix it up a bit...... he has just started. what would save him from pain in the first few weeks is a lot of stretching and then moving onto endurance from the second week or so.
Too much running in thebegining will cause more harm than benefit for him

I have this book by Bruce lee - tao of jeet kune do... he gives a beautiful system of workouts throughout the week.....

not a single day has the same thing as your body should not be able to get used to it..

^^ This is not a computer programming course where you read books and learn, I have experience and have trained guys and gals for many years..
I stress again, there is no half hearted way and no other way to reduce weight other than running, other than P90X or HIIT but bnoth of which the OP cannot do !!!
