Re: Transcend AxeRAM overclocking results

Not sure which chips are inside, but the AxeRAM 1066+ kit does have D9GMH. Of course these are the AxeRAM 800s... Is there any way to find out which chips are inside without removing the heatspreader?

I don't think thats feasible.
We can take a educated guess, or just take the plunge and see which ones are they

Re: Transcend AxeRAM overclocking results

As I had posted in the GO ram thread,, The 1066 are d9GMH.
Its only the 800mhz that could be d9gmh or something else..

These do use BP PCB's

Looking at the ocing potential, educated guess = D9GMH

Actually, there is one other possibility....

This ram is rated 4-4-4-12 at 1.8V DDR 800.

D9GMH is manufactured rated at 5-5-5-15 DDR 667 at 1.8V. How is it possible to go upto DDR2-800, with lower timings at the same voltage. I am guessing it is a new chipset? With a lower process model?

I am trying to locate a particular thread about this... I had read that Micron had introduced native 1066 Mhz 5-5-5 RAM rated at 1.8V. Then this could be that ram underbinned. Not sure of the facts and the numbers, will confirm.

Re: Transcend AxeRAM overclocking results

Guys, need your advice... would a better mobo help?

The LAST few MHz were tricky!! Had to juice the voltage up plenty to keep it stable. Is this normal? I am sad it would not go 1200 CL4...

Yaar, aapp kya hope rakhe the from DDR2-800 ram?

DDR2-1200 4-4-4- is very very tough. 1050 Mhz with 4-4-4 is a achievement in itself. After that it just ran out of steam.

Now can we have some CL=5 tests I know, I am asking for too much too fast, but trust me, you will have fun doing those tests
