Nice kido! Im presuming ur buying an unlocked piece. Be sure to book it, you dont want them to tell you its out of stock when you go to buy it.
Im contemplating which phone to get. Its either the iPhone 3GS or the BB 9700. There is no point in going for the Nexus One , as T-Mobile does not have 3G Coverage in my uni campus.

AT&T has bad service and speeds, do remember that.

AT & T has bad service only in the NYC and Washington DC area. My family friend who is helping me settle and driving me to the campus has the iPhone, and my god, its such an awesome device with 3G. Surfing the net, doing everything is just awesome. Seriously, Ive used ad1's iPhone and even another of my friend's iPhone, but my god, 3G takes the iPhone(any phone, as a matter of fact) to another level altogether. And he(and wife) is extremely happy with AT & T. Im mostly going for the Bold 9700 since it will serve me better.

Hey Karan, firstly congrats on getting this phone, but I dont think its gonna be that huge of an upgrade from ur current 3GS, since the latter seems more polished from the reviews I have read, but if you just wanna try out Andriod, then have fun!

AT & T is bad in LA?!
Thought it was good.. have a couple of relatives in LA who like AT & T.. but then I suppose T-Mobile is better since they are cheaper too!

Keeps fluctuating between 4 mb/s and 7 mb/s.
My family friend's internet.. not the Uni's.

Jiju ordered it for my from within the US.

He will receive it and UPS/Fedex/DHL it to me. Whatevers cheaper.
I dont mind spending almost 100$ on shipping, But NO NO to USPS!
