its not happening in India.Only in SG - and may be for malaysia too but no news about India having TF2.in fact it has next to 0 chances.
e-club pulled it off for SG.
edit - also if it does happen in India - do you think the established clans would not play together simply coz some1 is in mumbai and some1 in delhi =P.its not that hard to travel to one place and start together from there.

Dude, I meant that maybe the cafes can arrange for the teams to play the matches and since they have better connections than the ones at our homes, maybe even with better pings? Ofcourse WCG would have final say in it.

Only the serious ones would Travel.
I dont think most of the tf2 players will play together, Just for the reason that they are far away.

which teams? how many guys frm Delhi play tf2? it has to get popular in the first place, thats when people move on frm older games

arre fear you are chaddu only xD.
delhi must have atleast 50 tf2 pubbers.and people move on from older games only when they see other people playing it in cafes or tournaments.

but what i didnt understand is whats this supposed to do with wcg ?
respawn already has tf2 playable afaik =\

let's not get into the same old 1.6 cr4p...and yes, ppl do play tf2 in delhi.

@Shatter: it may not be necessary for them to travel. That's why I mentioned the cafe coz it would have other tf2 players who might wanna team up with max, banik or any other tf2 player from delhi for that matter. Bombay could probably do a similar thing..dunno how it would work out for each one though.

We're not talking about flying to SG are we? In which case, each regional team could play online.

we do have a cafe over here in bombay who had posted a topic on erodov asking about rules or something and that he wanted to promote tf2 by arranging a tournament, i helped him out with the rules, never heard him after that
