Re: Suggestions for a Face Lift

It's just a joint connecting two tubes Rakesh.
One color tube goes into a hollow piece covering it half & the remaining half of the hollow piece is taken by the other color tube. that simple no mounting business.
& they will pass through the space provided at the sides only.

Re: Suggestions for a Face Lift

Remember that in water cooling simple is the way to go. For each new fitting point, there is an additional area where leaks can start. And the plastic fittins dont do a great job, which is why you barely see people using them. Man, take my advice, try and keep it as simple as possible first. Then add funky stuff as you keep learning.

Re: Suggestions for a Face Lift

Guys I'm looking for a red LED or RED uv 120mm fan, with high flow( >55 cfm) , high pressure (>1.5mm H2O), low noise (<30db)
The only thing I could find is the Coolermaster 90 CFM Red LED Silent Fan 120mm (R4-L2R-20CK-GP) at an amazing price of Rs.450

How would a 140mm blue led fan look over the CPU?

Re: Suggestions for a Face Lift

There is the new CM red fan as well. Its a copy of the blademaster but with red blades and LED's. Much much better than the R4.

Re: Suggestions for a Face Lift

No, the 80mm fans will remain. I will rotate the top plate by 180' & make a new cut for the 140mm fan.
The only problem I see on the face of it that the two 80mm fans will not allow the tall water blocks to be installed in the last two pci-x slots.
Other cards pose no problems. What I am more worried about is the look. Cos even the transparent fan will hinder vision of the CPU block.

Re: Suggestions for a Face Lift

Yes true Fans over the GPU will hide the water block.... Better make a new top with one 140mm fan over CPU and VRM heat sinks...

I can afford to use the other 2 pci-x slot (the motherboard has 4 I can use for the GPU's) just the last two have problems.
I was thinking of using the last two so that a 90' rotatory compression fitting for the water pipe going down straight out will make it look cleaner than the gradual turning (refer to my picks posted )

So, you think a 140mm fan will not pose hindrance in the CPU view ?
In that case need suggestions for a new chrome 140mm fan grill.
Designs only limited to your imagination(will have them laser cut)
Restrictions:-
Has to be 2D, should pose little resistance to air flow & work well with the 80mm fan grill installed. (refer picks)
