Re: Suggest Me a UPS

i am using my APC Back UPS AVR Pro 500KVA on almost same config with E2200, i get an backup time of about 5 to 7 mins which is quite enough for me, its more than 6 years old, battery only replaced once.

hahahaha what more can i expect, so far so good, touchwood.
Apart from that i am also going to say that i usually love the reviews on buy.guru site, however they don't do UPS at the moment.
I am absolutely love their wireless headphone picks.

Re: Suggest Me a UPS

don't worry, your computer will never use more then 300 watt.
Btw, I have almost same config as yours except 8600gt, and normally its software shows 117watt on ideal and ~190+watt on load. so yours should go up to 250 watt max I guess. Speakers adds around 20 watts extra for me. Btw if you didn't know this UPS comes with a software from where you can control many things(automatic shutdown after power cut, sensitivity setting for voltage fluctuations etc etc. ). And its 390 watt

Re: Suggest Me a UPS

You can consider Microtek 800VA Double Battery UPS, its costs around 2200/-
I switched from 600VA to this^^ one coz sometimes while playing games, if there is a light fluctuation my system use to shutdown instantly or restart, But not having that problem now.

Re: Suggest Me a UPS

I've this Microtek with me ATM. Did wonderful with my earlier PC. But doesn't even last for 30 seconds let alone be the gaming factor. Looking for something with maintenance free batteries. Which I believe eliminates the need for battery replacement...
