Well ourvflat is actually L shaped, the router at this point is at the turn f the L, it pretty much covers major portion, but the cornermost area remains a bit uncovered, that's where we have the tv with fire stick and that's the bed room.. So you can say one wall of 9 inches that too after around 25 feet..

The thing is i feel a good double antenna router will do the trick

Then you will need to increase your budget, i had a tp link 300mbps router, its maximum speed over wifi was just 35mbps (4.3MB/s) (when signal is atleast 80%). Tried mi 3c router (4 antenna), its range was good but speed was lower than tp-link (20-25mbps range). Right now I'm using Asus AC58U, range is similar to tp link (less range than mi router), maximum speed at 2.4Ghz is 60mbps (7.5MB/s) and at 5Ghz is 90-95mbps. With this now i can watch 4K videos on YouTube without buffering.
If you're getting atleast 35mbps from your current router, then it will be cheaper to use wired wifi repeater in your home for max coverage.

You can get another cheap 300mbps router and use it as wired repeater of first router. With this you can get very good coverage but no so good speed. 300mbps written on router isn't its speed, its total bandwidth of router to be divided between connected devices. Which means 300mbps can have 4 separate devices with 72Mbps bandwidth each. If you want both speed and range, then you will have to get a higher end router which will be expensive.
