Check out the comparison between the two video-cards you mentioned:
AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7850 vs AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7870
oh okey i will order a ASRock Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3 then and i dont mind about the fps actually right now, its about iceq or normal one cause 7870 only has iceq technology which is available here. 7850 normal version only.

I checked the specs.

Z77 Pro4 is crap. Z68 Extreme3 gen3 is equal to maximus gene V in features and is cheaper.
So Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3 is it then?

Good night Everybody

well said @pteek Z68 Extreme 3 gen 3 looks great (priced 9k) but i was worried about the brand asrock. while asus has P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 but priced 13800.

according to benchmarks GTX 670 is even faster than 7970, if you can wait than I will highly recommend to do.

His budget is nearly maxed with a 7850 and you're suggesting a 670? How does that even make sense in your head?

Re: Buying New Gaming Rig

I also suggest to wait for 670. It should be around 23000, but will you great performance and very low power usage. Compared to 7870 @ 2100, 670 is a beast.

You should add a CM 212 EVO. Everything else looks great!

Also ASUS PZ68V-PRO GEN3 have the best VRMs. 12 for CPU 4 for GPU. It's the best mobo deal out there

if 670 comes around 23000 i will sure wait for it but asus pz68v-pro gen3 has some onboard 7.1 audio problems and voltage issues even in you tube review and online forums. And compared to asrock it is 4.8k price higher.

yep will add CM 212 Evo if comes in budget.

check above posts he said he might change GPU from 7850 to 7870, and 7870 cost 22k. GTX 670 will cost no more than 24-25k max but it will perform much much higher than 7870. now does that make sense in your head?

yep i have seen about the 670 benchmarks it really awesome compared to 7870 or 7970 even by my question is when it will reach india and price + tax + $-Rs.
will go about 26-27k think so. if i comes around 23-25 i surely take one 670 and will wait for it.

---------- Post added at 01:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:53 PM ----------

And what about the asrock mobo is there any defect on it cause asus seems some problems on audio as i said above as well as temperature problems and high priced.

I don't think that there's any point in buying memory that costs so much. For what it's worth, the G.Skill ARES seems to be pretty good, but in your case, it really wouldn't matter.
Stick to the G.Skill RipjawsX.

I've not heard of any defects (major) with ASRock boards, this one in particular.

It is HOT and HUMID here, in Chennai. Get a cooler, that's affirmative.

---------- Post added at 03:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:51 PM ----------

Uh... I might be wrong, but I seriously doubt that the GTX 670 will be priced at around Rs. 23, 000 - Rs. 25, 000.
When it releases (tomorrow), it'll carry a premium of about $400. And knowing how things are in India, well...

Okay, I didn't knew about the ASUS PZ68 motherboard problems.

The ASrock one should be the choice now unless you can find Biostar TZ77XE4 in India.

I think it won't be more than 25k. Most probably in 23-24k range. Let us see what happens.

@aksamurai

Can you confirm exactly which ASUS motherboard have the audio problems?
