Putting Adsense Ads in Wordpress Blog

I want to put ads in my wordpress blog, but I am totally confused. It will be very helpful if anyone here using any good plugins they have used & can guide me properly.

1. Firstly which plugin to use ?

2. And how to configure it ?

There r a lot of plugins that does the same or you can manually create ads from adsense dashboard and embed them wherever you need in your blog.

Here's one free plugin that does the job easily. Its called "Adsense for Wordpress" . Search it on your plugins page and install or download from Adsense for Wordpress | Linux and Open Source Blog

..and then upload it to your server and activate plugin.

Once activated, you can configure it on "settings" page. You need to enter your publisher ID in settings page. Rest all options is self explanatory.

You can use any of the plugins.

But I prefer to use the simple Text Widget in which you can put your HTML code for the Adsense ad. No plugin required.
