With that Ares bullsh1t out of the way for now, I decided to tear open the power supply and see what could be done about the wiring before I sleeved it.



Evidently not much. That little bugger is packed up TIGHT!

So I've just ordered a bunch of paraphernalia (standoffs, bolts and such) and will be ordering the sleeving later today. I'm debating between blue and black. Anyway, more later.

EDIT: And please, VOTE for names!

how did you make the mobo fit??Did you like remove all the side part which was taking the space??

Read the thread darling.

There was a little plastic post on the back-left (or front right depending on the angle) that was blocking the board from sitting flat. I just gave it the chop.

Actually I really liked PSx86 (it sounds so geeky ) but right now, my hot favorite is PSMC.

I think I'll decide on the name in a day or two. Still waiting for hardware to arrive so I can get back on with the butchering modding
