PicoATX PSU 80-250 Watt Power Supply for HTPC

Hi,
I plan to use a 2 year old Biostar A68N-2100 MiniITX motherboard with integrated AMD E1-2600 CPU lying idle as a simple TV Box. It is a very basic dual core and has 4GB of memory installed.

Now I intend to use it in my own cardboard case (can't fit any other case available in India at reasonable prices behind the TV) and I can not use a regular PSU for same reason and moreover I do not have a requirement for higher wattage PSUs.

So I am looking for a 80 to 160 or even 250 Watt PicoATX PSU if available in under INR 2500. Alternatively, if you have any Thin Mini-ITX form factor motherboard with DC Input port such as Asrock AM1H-ITX or similar in the same budget, feel free to ping me.

PicoATX PSUs are available from as low as a dollar on Alibaba or for about USD 10~12 on eBay.com and Amazon.com

Unfortunately, can't find anything on Indian e-commerce websites.

Thank you.

Anyone got a clue on where to find PicoATX PSUs in India at reasonable prices? Tried regular computer stores and automobile stores but no luck yet.

Yo
you can easily find pico psus via AliExpress, you can get some variants on Ebay India but you can better on AliExpress at same cost.
Most Pico run on 12v, gettin high quality and amperage 12v bricks is a rare/Expensive affair($100 for a 230w) Else you can always DIY the brick
Aliexpress has the pico-160w-XT , max 200w peak, it can take 16-24v, so you can use any laptop 19.5v brick with desirable amperage with easy . I got em @1.5k a piece. Totally worth getting it if you can source a good power brick with required wattage,
I'm using it with a i3 4170+1050ti and 175w modded xbox 360 power brick.Its a tight fit,and i need to upgrade to a 203w to be smooth as butter

For your setup a 60-80w MAX would suffice, power draw would be lower, I used a A10 7800 on a 90w brick, so getting a pico-160w-XT and using any 90w laptopbrick from the Indian market would be least hassling and easy replacement/upgrades in the future.

I have a 120w 12v Pico with a 60w/80w lying around somewhere, havent used/tested them,as it was low powered for my hardware, got them 'FREE' in an itx case and I dont trust the power brick. If you wanna test em out ,PM me.Try to source a 12v 90-120w PowerBrick ,just in case.

I'd advice to order the Pico-160-XT from AliExpress and use any old/new 90w brick min.

Hope this was helpful yo
Peace
