NZXT Beta:Classic mid-tower steel chassis

Announcing the BETA, a mid-tower steel case that delivers gamers a chassis designed for tremendous value without sacrificing performance. Built for maximum expandability, BETA expansive jet black interior provides ample room for 4 external 5.25" drives, 5 HDD racks, and fits large 10.5" performance graphics cards. Re: NZXT Beta:Classic mid-tower steel chassis

Seems nice and practical, what about the pricing?
I am sure it can come a second to the CM690..

Re: NZXT Beta:Classic mid-tower steel chassis

Why oh why is it a top mounted PSU setup. The bottom mounted system works much better in my opinion. But nice case otherwise. A side window would be nice though.

Re: NZXT Beta:Classic mid-tower steel chassis

I'd prefer an all aluminium chassis over a steel one any day. This looks like an interesting case. The lower part of the front bezel looks like the ideal place for a 2x120 RAD.

Especially mid-towers. SECC is fine for a full tower because odds are that you won't be moving it around. For a mid-tower, aluminum is almost obligatory.

Re: NZXT Beta:Classic mid-tower steel chassis

With some modding, this case would be just fine.

Functionally or cosmetically?
Functionally speaking - a case should be as close to perfect as possible, OOTB.
Cosmetically, of course, YMMV.

Even functionality wise, it can be given an uplift. Of course, we all expect the companies to dish out something along the lines of what we expect but we all know, those who've waited for the perfect case have always waited and eventually settle for something mediocre, with a sheepish whimper
