MSI Shows Off Single and Dual Screen Tablets

At an event in the UAE, MSI displayed prototypes of two tablets it aims to release soon - one a 9.7-inch capacitive multitouch slate running Windows 7 and featuring a MicroSD card slot and a USB port, while the other is a dual-touchscreen netbook-esque thingg that will probably pack an Intel Atom and also run Windows 7.

Oh so THIS is why M$ canned the Courier. Someone else was already doing it =/

Windows7/MSI custom software is never going to match the Courier.

The dual touchscreens on the Courier were just incidental, it was the software that made it droolworthy.

Well, unless they implement the new Windows 7 touch interfaces/software/whatever, I agree, it won't match up to the Courier.

Unless...

M$ signed a contract with MSI and this is the Courier! Like how Google signed on with HTC to make the Nexus One.

Surely someone would have heard about it if that happened. And in that case, MS wouldn't have been so clear in stating that the Courier was kaput.

umm, no. keyboard/touchpad towards the base?

they could perhaps make the kb snap-replaceable with a touchpad. push a button and kb out, push touchpad in the slot.
