just read around.. u need NORDIC rom to install CM7... atleast it did..... doesn't matter what gapps version u use.... and yah full SBF flash...

-Downloaded Nordic Foryo 3.4.2
-Backed up SD Card contents
-Backing up phone data using Titanium/MyBackup

Hi guys, I am planning to buy a new Defy from Letsbuy. This site has loads of information on Defy, and I figured that I will need your help after buying one, or can help others too...
Question to the new Defy owners with June/July manufactured handset - Does your phone features the new Red lens, or the older Green one?

hey guys,
im trying out theCM7 RC1 , everything seems ok except for the wi-fi. the wifi signal is fair, and even in settings it shows wifi connected n all... but neither my market opens, nor does my browser let me surf the net. its quite irritating that even with wifi connected im not able to surf.
ive searched the forum a lot for this issue, but mostly people with wifi problems are complaining of non-connectivity to the wifi router. so if u guys got any fixes please oh please lemme know.
i really like cyanogen so itd be sad to let go bcoz of this issue.

im on SBF 3.4.2-177-005 NORDIC.
got green lens.
do u know if rolling back to RC0 mite solve this issue.
id been waitin for this sh1t a long time. now its just pissin off.

I ordered mine form Letsbuy in May, it has the Green lens.

deathwi5h, I know this may sound stupid but u r connected to the internet right, try using some other wifi device to connect to the internet.

just try manually setting the ip on your defy.

Yeps .. I had the same problem on SEA Froyo .. setting to a static IP fixed everything.

not the same IP as in ur pc, different.

@deathw15h if you using lan and you connect through a static gateway and port it will not work...i have had same issues also.... all the laptops and desktops can connect but not a single mobile could connect
