Monitor Display Goes Off and Comes Back

My friend recently bought LG D2324P 3D Monitor
its working well till 2 days ago he encountered this issue.
as soon as he switched on the tube light monitor display went off & came back after 5-6 seconds
he switched it on & same then he repeated it 4-5 times to see if problem is still their
after those attempts display stopped getting off but certain green color waves appear on the screen

although no issues with Earthing & Monitor is tested even by switching off heavy load stuff like Fridge & AC & everything including fan etc.

what it must be indicating any clue? do electrician needs to be called or RMA is needed?

the fuse on that room is probably too weak for all that load. or the electrical lines are getting old.
yes call electrician if you dont have experience.

take your friends monitor to your place and try there .... if theres no issue then the electric lines are faulty ..

Yeah mine too. When the other room freeze and Induction goes on working I get this problem. I changed the fuses but still it follows might be the power I am getting is not good enough..!!! Now I am living with it.

when was the wiring in your home done?

Looks like the faulty electrical supply of your home is doing this.
In old days Our CRT Tv is doing the same type of thing(But no green wave it just shows no picture but we can hear the audio) when we switch on the mixer or microwave (A FRIDGE and a mixer , 2 fans and a microwave is in the same section of electrical supply as our tv)
You should check your monitor in your friend's house connected with a voltage stabilizer
