If U can increase ur budget by another 4K (>49K) then Dell 15R with 4th gen i5 and ATI 8850M GPU is a pretty decent laptop. Dell Inspiron 15R 5537 Laptop (4th Generation Intel Core i5-4200U- 6 GB RAM- 1 TB HDD- 15.6 Inches Screen- Windows 8- 2GB AMD Radeon HD 8850M Graphics) (Moon Silver) - Buy Online @ Best Price | Snapdeal.com

If U gotto stick to ur budget, then I'd suggest getting the Lenovo S510 with 4th gen i5 and Nvidia 740M GPU. Lenovo S510p (59-383326) Laptop (4th Gen Intel Core i5 4200U- 500GB HDD- 4GB RAM- 15.6 Inches- DOS- 2 GB Graphics) (Black) - Buy Online @ Best Price | Snapdeal.com

I've checked all other reliable sources, incl. FK & Dell India, and the thing is, the GPU is a typo.
The GPU is actually a HD8670m which is much slower than GT740m.
The typo first appeared on FK, and due to complains from verified buyers, it was corrected later.

The HD8850m is only bundled with the 60k Inspiron 15 model with 4th gen i7: Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop (4th Gen Ci7/ 8GB/ 1TB/ Win8/ 2GB Graph) Rs.60990 Price in India - Buy Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop (4th Gen Ci7/ 8GB/ 1TB/ Win8/ 2GB Graph) Black Online - Dell: Flipkart.com

Re: Laptop Within Range of 40k to 45k

If you don't wanna consider the HP option, get that Lenovo S510P which Hawk posted.

That's probably the 2nd best (in terms of pricing) you could get under your budget. And yeah, the Asus laptop you posted - avoid that.
Dosen't even have a discrete GPU, and you said you'd be gaming, isn't it?
So, yeah.

Re: Laptop Within Range of 40k to 45k

I have seen in some sites the failure rate as follow after 3 year use

1. HP: 25.6%

2. Gateway: 23.5%

3. Acer: 23.3%

4. Lenovo: 21.5%

5. Dell: 18.3%

6. Apple: 17.4%

7. Sony: 16.8%

8. Toshiba: 15.7%

9. Asus: 15.6%

So go for asus or sony or dell not for hp or lenovo.....otherwise u r leptop stop running within 3 months..
