TEST SETUP

The memory Module was tested with the AMD A10 6800k APU, below is the mentioned Setup used for testing this module .

• AMD A10 6800K
• ASUS F2A85-V PRO
• KINGSTON HYPER X BEAST 16GB 2400MHZ
• CORSAIR H60
• CORSAIR FORCE 3 60GB SSD
• SEASONIC PLATINUM 1000W

Performance

For comparison i used Corsair Dominator platinum memory, memory modules are tested with different frequencies mentioned below:-

Kingston Hyper X beast 2133Mhz @ 11-13-13-30
Kingston Hyper X beast 2400Mhz @ 11-13-13-32
Kingston Hyper X beast 2500Mhz @ 11-14-14-32
Kingston Hyper X beast 2600Mhz @ 13-15-15-36

Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133Mhz @ 9-10-11-30
Corsair Dominator Platinum 2400Mhz @ 10-13-12-32

Aida64 Memory Benchmark

Aida64 Memory Latency

Sisoftsandra Memory Bandwidth

Sisoftsandra Memory Latency

Super Pi 1M

Wprime 32M

Conclusion

Kingston products are always top notch and HyperX series of memory modules has always been exceptional when it comes to performance. These Hyper X beast modules Perform very well and offers top-tier performance with some new visual style and plenty of Overclocking headroom.

These kits are having a great room of Overclocking headroom with our testing we are able to push it to 2600MHz with ease.

However, there are a few things I want to mention about this particular set of memory that it`s heatsink is a bit large which may interfere with some aftermarket coolers as I am facing the same with my Cooler Master TPC 812.

The Good

• Excellent stock and overclocked performance
• Dual XMP profiles
• New Visuals

The Bad

• Large Heatsink which may interfere with some aftermarket coolers

A Special Thank to Kingston for providing the Review Sample.

Re: Kingston Hyper X Beast 16gb 2400mhz

Good review. These are great set of kits, but the only thing that irks me is that green pcb. They could've made it on a black PCB. That would have increased the appeal even more.

I will be looking to get either these or some mushkin blacklines for my build next time. The matte black is really eyecatching!

Re: Kingston Hyper X Beast 16gb 2400mhz

That price is ok with me, if it is truly converted to Rupee !! in an earnest way.

But I must ask you, how do you get these hardwares??
Do you buy these or you just ask the companies !!

I have to know as one of the HDD's of mine has died again and I am looking at th eblack abyss. !! asking all the people to help me find SSD samples to test for my tests and then think of getting one, I am sorry but I have to be certain with my tests and that alone could make me spend some money..
I can't spend ! other than this

Very nice review Singh.

The heat sinks look a bit bulky. They could have made a better, sleeker design for that.

@MadDog Let me check I think I take some shots while testing it. For me 8 out of 10. The only thing I don`t like about this kit is its big heatsink which conflict with CPU Cooler ....

Re: Kingston Hyper X Beast 16gb 2400mhz

Erm, mine do 2.4~2.5 @ cl10 .. 2.6 @ cl11 and look a lot sexier than those Kingstons

BTW, I'm still on stock cooler and no MHz OCing ... will post bench scores when I get custom cooling and get a chance to make it bleed!

I paid ~15K INR for my 16GB kit, BTW.
