| Re: Killzone 2 - The Greatest FPS ever ?
Well, I would say its the right game on the not so ideal platform. It will be a great game on the PS3, but it will probably be an even better game if made for the PC. Take this from someone who owns the PS3, XBOX 360 along with a PC.
Even if you have keyboard/mouse support on the PS3, its still not the ideal platform for such a game. If people think game play and storyline are the only important ingredients of a great game, then they are wrong. Graphics and audio are just as important. The better they are, the more immersive the experience will be. I have seen KZ2 videos and it looks great. but even if the developers extract the last bit of power from the console hardware, it only goes so far. How many number of iterations have the GPU's gone through. If it looks great on the PS3, it can be made to look even better on the PC.
I give more importance to the game than to the platform, but still I feel certain categories of games are better suited for the PC than for consoles while for others, the platform don't matter as long as you can play it with a controller.
So my take on the matter, I wouldn't miss it even if its a PS3 exclusive, but I would rather have a even better version for the PC.
