Kaspersky OR spyware doctor

Hi,

Planning to buy either Kaspersky internet security 9 OR Spyware Doctor 6.
looking out for safe and secure internet experience.Dont need antivirus.


need opinion , no price restriction.
plz suggest any other software , if available.

If I buy a 3 user / year PACK , is it allowed only for a single machine 3 times OR even my 2 friends including me can use this app??

kaspersky, its jus a perfect all in one solution and i can guarantee u will never have to worry about any virus/ spyware..i have the 3 user retail, the 3 user retail allows u to use the product key 3 times in any machine.

Free one is better than all IMHO. Also comodo personal firewall is free as well.

The free version of Avast is enough. Its U.I is very poor, but it is functional.

Well just install it once. You wont have to bother about the UI. I agree its minimal though.

What you must understand is that the "safe experience" that you seek cannot be taken for granted by just installing some anti-malware software such as a antivirus.etc. You can get trouble even if you have all of these.

Follow the guidelines I have suggested in my earlier post. And above all use your commonsense while downloading/installing programs. Do a bit of research on the program before installing it and see what other people are saying.

You may find it funny but briefly read the user agreement before clicking "I agree" in a program setup. Sometimes they tell you that they are going to install Adware and other junk on your system.

will try avast freeware for sometime... .Kaspersky is quite irritating some times.
