I believe Zibri and Dev team ve already developed the software to unlock the iphone 3G.

iirc, rip dev team has already released Winpwn 2.0.4 (Boot neuter included).

EDIT: I already ve the QuickPwn.zip My friend (in US) jailbroke his iphone 3G with this in 1 click
Correction: He unlocked his other iphone...didn't work on the 3G :@

Speedtest your 3g and share with us.

BTW it should now be easy to fill up your iphone on-the-go with media downloaded using iSlsk (soulseek app). Also, Simplify Media and Orb media streaming will be a lot smoother.

Now my friend in US says its possible through ZiPhoneWin-3.0.exe :8

Think its 4m Zibri n is suppose to unlock the 3G iphone...will know 4 sure in a bit as my friend is giving it a try :S

I ve the exe n if some1 with a iphone 3G wants to try can PM me

You cant unlock the iPhone 3G yet. Except with Hardware Unlocks.

The iPhone Dev team is working on an unlock, and when its out, well know here > blog.iphone-dev.org
I say when, because its only a matter of time.

Quickpwn can be used to Jailbreak the iPhone 3G.

Winpwn and PwnageTool, can Activate & Jailbreak the iPhone 3G, and Activate, Jailbreak and Unlock the iPhone 2G (All Firmwares, including 2.0.1)

3 more days till the very expensive 3G is out here!

ok...im confused now...which one should i use to jailbreak it...i think the term jailbreak means that we can install 3rd party applications...sorry im an iphone noob.i dont wanna screw my iphone lol

^^ Yes, Jailbreak it using Quickpwn.
Not an issue.

You dont need to Restore the entire Firmware using WinPwn/PwnageTool.
Unless you want to ofcourse. Lol.
