Re: Inno3D GTX 1080 Ti X2

Got the card today. By any chance was this used for mining?
Coz the card was badly maintained. I mean I could just give it a wiggle or shake it and notice abnormal amount of dust dropping out. Took approx 3 hours for me to clean it. Black sticky dirt stuck all over and inside the card.

Anyways, I don't have a system now as my motherboard has gone for RMA. I'll check the card over the weekend and then leave the feedback.

Never used it for mining. I cleaned the card from outside as best as I could before shipping it but did not open and clean it from the inside so it is possible for it to be dusty. Sorry for that.

@irfanrafeeq88 can you share some pics of what you are saying?
@darkflicker Your Product Condition 10/10 does not support his stament that it took 3 hours to clean it. if he can figure out its dusty from outside so surely there was visible and ample amount of dust.

I would have cleaned it if the dust was visible from the outside. As I said, I cleaned it the best as I could from the outside. I did not want to open the whole gpu as I did not have thermal paste at hand.

Yup. Here is the dust that I could get by just shaking the card gently. The dirt on cloth is not appearing correctly on camera as it's trying to enhance the pic.

Unable to post more details as I didn't capture them. Anyways , I'll check the card once I get my motherboard from RMA
