ICS Update for Galaxy S2. When?

I was expecting it to come out on 15th March. But it seems to have been released only in some European markets. Does anybody here have info on when the ICS updated for the Galaxy S2 (I9100) is expected in India?

Sorry for making a fuss, but I hear that Kies update automatically backs up data(contacts/sms/etc) automatically before updating and is just a one step process.

I'm a noob when it comes to updating phone OS'es. So some guidelines on how to update manually will be much appreciated. Will I lose all my app data once the update happens?

u can backup using kies..its really simple and keep the file safely and then manually update it

and restore using that file

Btw can someone tell me will ICS be coming for I9100G at the same time?

Btw for apps u can use any good App from play shop

I had one but i dont remember the name will let u knw by evening

i am using a custom ICS 4.03 xxlph rom shud i install the stock official ics i heard from my friends and other forums that custom ones are much better than factory stock ics rom ? please comment on the stock ics rom those who have installed it ?

The update has already started rolling out In korea and all i think it should be in india by end of april i think!
