was looking online and found them listed on bitfang

2500k is for Rs. 11,235

2600k is for Rs. 16,460

LGA 1155 Mobos on bitfang


ps: if anyone finds them at better deals or combos please do post !!!

^^ Hey Banik, if a graphics post processing house is to use i7 2600K on the H67 board, without OC ever, abd without gfx card.. would it be enough..
basically I wanted a real world number crunching difference of the 2699K on h67 v/s p67 board !!!

Yes its Intel who is not bringing in/sending it out the 2600K for another fortnight or so, till i5 stocks are finished from the distribution channel

Nopes I dont think its enough....Intel graphics is still far behind than even the most basic discreet graphic card that is available. Its only good enough for watching HD movies and stuff like that.....

But the work being done on these machines will be only Pshop and Corel draw, the most cpu intensive task will be Ripping one bit tiff... for ripping the plates ( offset ) and thats all..

^^ photoshop and corel draw still use openGL to a good extent......so getting a card will definitely make things run a lot smoother and faster and also less cpu intensive
