How to send stuff from India to US

I am in US right now and my parents need to send me something from India.
Whats the procedure and how much will it cost?

Only trust big companies, like Bluedart or DHL or such companies. the charges are quite high though.

you can send through indian EMS also. will be much cheaper. and they deliver also. Plus lesser chances of any duty or taxation on arrival in US ( if anything taxable)
