Help Required to Choose a New Monitor

Hi Guys, with the number of new cards coming in for a review, its time to get a better monitor, specially since I cant be bothered the borrow one time and again...I dont have a PS3, I dont need too many extra connectors, dvi and hdmi should be enough for me. ...budget is around 8-10k...what do u guys suggest and full HD is required.

Re: Help Required to Choose a New Monitor

You will have to increase the budget by say 2-3k and get a DELL 24xx.......whatever is the latest and cheapest model in 24inchers........

Re: Help Required to Choose a New Monitor

Is it just me ???

I'd get a CRT than a big TN, any day.

The used View Sonic E96f+SB I got through late Vivek Pundabi (RIP) for 4K, is brighter with better contrast and more vivid and excellent colors, than most non-TN LCDs I ve seen. And its 1200p

But I doubt they are in production, anymore.

Re: Help Required to Choose a New Monitor

CRT's are in no more production (RIP) in that amount of money the BenQ 2200HD will fit your bill perfectly, it is 1920x1080 though.
I am using it and it is a vfm monitor. or the Dell 24" will fit in just fine. or even the BenQ 24" if dell is costly.

Re: Help Required to Choose a New Monitor

^^ The price I bought it was 12K but that is some months back when it was launched, I heard fleeting words that it is near to the 9 or 10K now, maybe even lower.
I have the E2200HD model though. get that only...if you plan on BenQ

Ha ha, I dont think you will regret the monitor one bit. keep the color space to be on sRGB only ! that is the best.

Nice.... with CRT only problem is eye strain and the huge space they occupy 1200P is cool

Re: Help Required to Choose a New Monitor

And on top of it, they consume a lot of power...
I am glad that I am on LCD, gave up my pro Sammy 22" and the 19" for good. and I do not have eye strain now + my power bill has gone down that much.
