Re: Help overclocking E7200 on ASUS P5Q Deluxe

What clocks are you trying to achieve?..

Do you have a aftermarket CPU cooler?..

If not and your trying to OC on the Stock cooler, Id recommend you go for 3.3Ghz (ie. 350 x 9.5)

Change only the following settings...
JumperFree Configuration Settings
AI Overclock tuner: AUTO
CPU Ratio Setting: AUTO
FSB Strap to North Bridge: 266
FSB Frequency: 350
PCI-E Frequency: 115
DRAM Frequency: 350 (700 whatever ie. just run 1:1, im not too sure how the P5Q Deluxe shows it)
DRAM CLK Skew on Channel A1: AUTO
DRAM CLK Skew on Channel A2: AUTO
DRAM CLK Skew on Channel B1: AUTO
DRAM CLK Skew on Channel B2: AUTO
DRAM Timing Control: Manual

1st Information :

CAS# Latency: 4
DRAM RAS# to CAS# Delay: 4
DRAM RAS# Precharge: 4
DRAM RAS# Activate to Precharge: 12
RAS# to RAS# Delay : AUTO
Row Refresh Cycle Time: AUTO
Write Recovery Time: AUTO
Read to Precharge Time: AUTO

CPU Voltage: 1.3-1.4 (You need to play around and get a good voltage setting, as low as possible and stable!)
CPU GTL Voltage Reference (0/2): 67%
CPU GTL Voltage Reference (1/3): 67%
CPU PLL Voltage: 1.25
FSB Termination Voltage: 1.25
DRAM Voltage: 1.8 (depending on what your ram needs to give you 700 4-4-4)
NB Voltage: 1.3-1.38
NB GTL Reference: AUTO
SBridge Voltage: AUTO
PCIE SATA Voltage: AUTO

Load Line Calibration: ENABLED
CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled
CPU Clock Skew : Normal
NB Clock Skew : Normal

Advance CPU Settings
CPU Ratio Setting: Manual (9.5)
C1E Suppport: Disabled
Max CPUID Value Limit: Disabled
Intel® Virtualization Tech: Disabled
Vanderpool Technology: Disabled
CPU TM Function: Disabled
Execute Disable Bit: ENABLED
