Help : OS Compatibility Before Installing

Hi i have a netbook which pre installed with Win7 starter, i want to install windows xp in it, but dont know whether it would have all the drivers for windows xp, how to check that before installing? Also willing to install Ubuntu netbook edition, concerned abt the drivers.. pls help out....

Get the drivers for each piece of hardware and slipstream it into your windows XP install.

Ubuntu Netbook Remix is alright, but I'd suggest getting the latest iteration of Ubuntu itself. There isn't that much of a difference unless you havea REALLY slow laptop like I did.
