So I was doing this for a forum member who requested a guaranteed working multiplier chip and thought of extending it to other members as well.

As interested people might already know, even with the best of cooling, with Sandybridge K Processors, one can get a chip which will have a wall at a specific Multiplier/Mhz and no amount of cooling or Voltage can overcome that wall. So here is a chance to ensure that you do not become unlucky and get a chip which does not have a low multi wall.

I would guarantee 52X/53X chip for a very small extra fees of Rs. 200 (this is not for Profit or anything but can be considered as Petrol Charges to visit the market). I would be going only on Saturdays to Nehru Place, so bill would be from SMC and of the weekend when you send the money. You will have full Retail warranty on the chip.

Higher Multiplier is possible as well but for that we will have to take the discussion on PM.

Intel generally has never responded to price drops from competitors. its the distributors/retailers who drop their margin a bit I guess......

Is this overclocking achieved with the default intel heatsink? Or are you using something like nitrogen cooling? What's the max stable overclocking achieved on the 1 x 56X 2500K with the defualt intel heatsink?

^^no...simple multiplier testing could be done with the stock HSF...but if you are keen to max out the chip you should buy an good air cooler

U mean u use some testing tool to check what's the max this cpu can overclock upto? And that's done without any actual overclocking? I have a Noctua NH-U12P SE2, which I think is a good enough air cooler.

well binning is somewhat simple.....but to attain 5600mhz+ in 2600k will be difficult in NH-U12P SE2...i will suggest something like venomous x or NH D14 even a cm v6GT will do
