its hardly better
soundwise there is a very small difference
its no waste of money..
just that this uses PCI-E urs uses PCI

Correct me if i'm wrong, but these support only EAX 1.0 and 2.0......and not 5.0. That would only allow them to process only 32 voices instead of 128 done by the X-FI. There may be a workaround(like in 2142)but i'm not sure. Can someone confirm this cause HDAV DLX seems like an excellent option for me in the high end spectrum. Looking for an audiophile to answer a few queries!!!

buddy there is some mistake.

these card well support all formats.

actually EAX 5.0 is format supported by creative brand
but actually too few games now support them.

most of them now support THX n dolby digital
which are the industrial bench marks

asus new cards are first in the class to support full hd 7.1 sound.
there r compared to none

Can you highlight the differences between the DX2 and the HDAV 1.3 DLX.?
All i got so far is that the HDAV has a Video processor as an additional component and an addon card for RCA output.
