Giveaway - Code for Free Game Off the Origin Store

Well i'm in the festive mood so I'm giving away a code for a free game from the Origin Store which I got from EA

Before I tell you the rules, here's a few things you should know..

Terms of the code - PC Digital Download only. Offer is valid till to 31 December 2011. Value of discount will be deducted from product list price at time of purchase. Discount is valid only on new purchases from Origin. Valid only on the Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Thailand and South Africa stores. Cannot be combined with any other offer, gift card, rebate or other discount coupons. Limit one offer per customer. Offer is not applicable to pre-order titles, points, timecards, Warhammer, Ultima Online and Play4Free items, as well as within 30 days of all new released titles. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.

Reason why i'm giving it away (apart from the the holiday cheer ) -
1. No good game on the Indian origin store which I haven't played.
2. Its valid only in the India/asia pacific store and i'm currently not in India. I still could use it going through a proxy but too much of a pain.
3. Something buggy with the EA Store/Origin. The origin client doesn't reject the code but it doesn't apply the discount either. The EA web store applied the discount but then since the price is zero doesn't present payment option so you might get a "credit authorization failure message". This might be because the proxy was so slow or maybe EA store's problem. I'm thinking you might need to buy something else to get the payment option but who ever wins can figure that out.. You might need to contact EA support which can be a bit of a pain.

The code is not bound to my account, will work with any account.. I've tested


Now here's how the giveaway works.. You just post in this thread and i'll randomly choose a winner using a random number generator (using the range of post numbers).

Some general rules:

1. In order to avoid too many posts to select from and since the code is only valid upto 31st Dec 2011. This contest only runs for 48 hours.. that is posts upto 2pm IST 27th Dec will count.
2. Members should be relatively old. Say atleast 1 year.. i.e joined in/before Dec 2010
3. Member must have a minimum of 100 posts.
4. No repeat posts in this thread.
5. Try to make the posts more meaningful than just "posted/signed", etc..
6. If for whatever reason the winner doesn't want the coupon any longer tell me and i'll select someone else.
