Gaming PC Build Suggestion >50k

I need help in buying/building a new PC. My budget and requirements are as follows:
  • Budget:50k
  • Existing hardware setup:laptop
  • Components from the existing setup that you intend to keep:monitor, keyboard, mouse
  • Components that you have in mind for your new PC:AMDfx8350
  • Plans to upgrade in the future: slight modding, led's and maybe some AM cooling, also SLI if possible down the line
  • Places from where you will buy components along with your location: BLR/Online
  • Are you comfortable with buying secondhand components from the Erodov market? :Y
  • Intended use of the PC [gaming/office use/rendering/HD playback etc] : Gaming
  • Brand preferences:
  • Monitor resolution and size: 24" 1920
  • Will you be overclocking your setup?: Maybe
  • Which OS will you use?: Win 8
This is what I currently have in mind, though cabinet will change

Re: Gaming PC Build Suggestion >50k

Intel Core i5 4460 - 11.4K
Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H - 5K
Kingston Hyper-X Fury 8GB(4GB*2) - 5.4K
WD 1TB Blue - 4K
Seasonic ECO 600 - 4.3K
Sapphire R9 280 Dual-X OC - 17.3K
Antec GX900/CM N400/Corsair Spec 02/Corsair 200R - 4K

At your budget a good overclocking setup isn't viable. Intel combo will perform better than AMD at stock in gaming.

If you're planning to add two GPUs let me tell you. For CFX, a H87 board is minimum, primary PCIe is x16 whereas secondary is x4. Therefore, if you're planning for CFX, it's better to skip B85/H87 & opt at least for a Z87/Z97 board. B85/H87 boards are best suited for single GPU configuration.

Checkout Corsair 230T.

Edit: You may get a Corsair 300R & order a side panel from Corsair itself. See how a fellow member got it[Corsair 300R Side Window Panel Replacement and Grommets for 300R

I won't suggest the board with the FX8350. It has a 4+2 power phase which isn't great if you're planning to overclock.

You may go for a FX8320 with Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 board. Should cost you about the same 21K tag. Has 2 PCI at x16, so serve your CFX plan as well. And, there isn't much of an difference between a FX8350 & FX8320 minus the stock clock speed.

For cabinet, Phantom 240 isn't the best one IMO, has 158mm clearance for cooler(I guess even a Hyper 212X won't fit). Stick with a 300R/230T.
