Support Earphone Advice

hey guys
I have two earphones
Phillips SHE 8500/98
Phillips SHE 6000
and I use it on Phillips Go Gear mp3 player, Nokia C1 01 (temp replacement for my phone)
I'm going to buy a netbook or tablet soon and a phone, spice 350 or micromax A 75
so I was wondering, to improve my sound experience should I get a pl30 or buy sum portable amp instead

What is you budget?
I don't think your current earbuds performance will improve with an AMP.Higher end iem phones require an amp most low end iem;s can be driven by media players.
Consider M6,E10 instead of PL30 as it is a old iem now and the technology has made new iem's cheaper

Re: Earphone Advice

Then be sure to take only 2k in your pockets ,better go for online shopping
M6 is a value for money option.E10 is a bit on the higher side.
Try Primeabgb shop if you are in mumbai for 1500/- or OL @Bitfang for 1390+shipping.
Google for pricing of others.

Re: Earphone Advice

k, there's a slight thng that my ear passage is big so I have to use the largest bundled bud to make it proper isolated, so I want good isolation (my idea of testing is to click the fingers near my ear and if I hear it , it fails)

---------- Post added at 11:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:06 PM ----------

and also is there sum way to make the noise isolation of my earphones better? I mean like the double arrow bud structure on M6, or something else that might improve the isolation

Re: Earphone Advice

You can go for Comply foam tips instead of normal rubber buds.Makes even low end one's sound good and also is more easy on the ears.
They are costly though but a small price to pay for perfect isolation and comfort.

where to get those? I have heard abt modifying the triple flange or foam ones that are used for industrial uses or for shooting or for protecting ear canal while swimming, any idea abt them?
all I need is isolation, the earphones I have are enuff for me right now (will get a good pair when I'll buy a pmp in a few months)

Soundmagic series, Meelectronics are the options to go for. Suite yourself with the budget.

Re: Earphone Advice

Those are fully enlcosed and are not for listening/passive isolation ,they are meant to do the opposite that is blocking
The buds have to fit the earphone nozzle if you get it.

Re: Earphone Advice

I know, cut a hole at center and stick the earphone at the outer end, thats supposed to do the job

Re: Earphone Advice

I'm think abt a better way to mod earphones, cutting a hole thru a foam plug and covering it with a silicone plug , that way, its more comfort and better isolation
