Dslr or superzoom

Really puzzled b/w buying a good superzoom camera or getting a dSLR

My main requirements are good picture quality with more details and also able to take shots in low light and have good landscape shots from Hill stations, good range will be a great bonus

Superzooms shortlisted are:
PANASONIC FZ150 (24X zoom) ~ 25k
CANON SX40S (35X zoom) ~ 28k

Both have CMOS sensor, but is their image quality close to a dSLR quality
Panasonic fz150 also records is RAW format and 24X is more than enough.

But I want to know how much will a dSLR like Nikon D3100 and some gud lenses cost
I can initially pour in 30K and after that lenses will be required

Which lenses can be used for landscape and wide angle photography ??

Suggestions plz...!!!!

I think the price is for body only

It is nearly 29K with 18-55 lens

if I get body only, then what are my options for lenses for wide angle, telephoto and night shots ?

Can i find all the lens for d3100 at some online store with price (are these lenses of nikon only or other companies are also there ) ?

yes, Its for the body.
Sorry I forget to mention that. ^^

With lens its for 29k as you said.
You have to get lens to serve your purpose

Better find a guy over here to give your detailed review or a nearby could help the most.

go for superzoom if you plan to use your camera not more than once per week, that too on weekend. PanasonicFZ150 is an amazing camera! Leica lens and good enough manual control for DSLR

go for a DSLR {canon 550d} if you plan to explore photography and get serious in a year or two about it. DSLR is basically an addiction to keep buying better lenses, and accessories... You wont ever get enough lenses or enough light... better to stay away from it and start from a superzoom.

Re: Dslr or superzoom

If you always carry your camera around, then a DSLR wouldn't be suitable since the kit is pretty big.
