Core I7 2700K Releases!

Intel continues to BullDoze on!

Intel had announced they would be updating the flagship of the Sandy-Bridge series with a new processor i7 2700K. They revealed that it only had a minor speed bump in stock frequency, this wasn't entirely surprising though, they had done the same with innumerable other Architectures. Nehalem had its 920 to 960 transition, Westmere had its 980X to 990X transition. All of these had only a minor speed bump, but one thing that the masses noticed was that the latter had much higher OC'ing capability or were "binned" much higher.
I believe this to be the same, although the review doesn't show an OC'ing section, I am pretty sure it shall do marginally better than the i7 2600K.
The Intel i7 2700K is priced at $332, $15 higher than the i7 2600K, but considering that you are able to reach a higher multiplier at the same voltage might indicate better binning.

Legit Bottom Line: The Intel Core i7-2700K processor is a nice little speed bump for the Sandy Bridge processor line and keeps the Intel desktop offerings fresh!

Thats a great price, just $15 higher, its unbelievable. Seems like it will have a great sale worldwide. I thought the price would be 20k+. But at this price, the proccy is affordable.

They have started at a very good priice. And what it will do, it will take down the present price of 2500K and 2600K.

Couple of months is very small time span. Let it release in Indian market then 1-2 months, and hope for the best.
