For the speakers, get Edifier X100

Edifier X100 2.1 Speakers with Wooden Enclosure Price: Buy Edifier X100 2.1 Speakers with Wooden Enclosure Online in India - Infibeam.com

For UPS, well that depends.
If your area has frequent powercuts, then it's a must. A 600VA/700VA would be enough to 2-5mins of backup on load (enough for shutting down)..

It may not improve usb or lan transfer ratr but if you can oc cpu / gpu moderately you will notice some nice performance improvement in games and other applications.

an APC 600va ups costs around 2.1k. Inverter has slower switching time compared to ups so an Inverter is not the best option for pc though you may connect the ups with it for longer backup time.

Re: Confused Between Laptop and Desktop

An inverter will always give you better back-up than an UPS.
The time range depends on how much the system is sqeezing out, so that'll vary.

These days, inverters have improved a lot. Though that depends on the brand.
EXIDE, Luminous, Su-Kam make great ones (i don't trust Microtek).

But if you're using any local ones, i rather suggest going for an UPS. Risking your components is not an option.

An 600VA would cost around 2k like Topgear said, and a 700VA would set you back by 3k

APC, Numeric & Powersafe - these are the brands you should look for. APC should be your 1st choice BTW!

Actually what do u mean by the local brands of inverter or the renowned ones??
does it make any difference ??
I have that local one only at my house but with two batteries installed onto that...
will that not work??
also if i buy an ups and then connect it with inverter will that not work?
And what does 600 and 700 differ in?

Yup. That makes a difference.
Just take the example of UPSes - brands like Microtek, iBall, etc uses cheap components.
So, they not only last for a short span, but also give less backup for similar capacities.

Now take up APC, and you see a big difference.
Not only they use top notch equipments but also can handle load efficiently and give longer backup.

And yes, you can connect your UPS to an inverter for longer backups. But can your inverter handle it? Considering you also have some home equipments added with it. Like TV, etc.
You have to sacrifice them then.

And VA (Volt-Ampere) capacities differ in back-up times. More the VA = More back-up.

Yup...
My inverter can take the load...
I will run only pc then...
usually i run two tv's on inverter,if i run one tv and one pc then what would be the case??
So whats the backup diff. In 600 & 700 ??

Well, do some trial testing then. Then you'd know how much it would handle.
And there's max difference of 8-10mins backup on load between 600VA & 700VA.
