Cheated by cramble2005

Hi,

Today I'm writing this post up is because I am in a bit of a dilemma. I had bought an i5 2500k processor from @cramble2005. http://www.erodov.com/forums/intel-c...cpu/88705.html Here is the link to the thread.
I managed to ruin my motherboard after getting the CPU, so I asked Sundeep(cramble2005) to help me out and he got me a Motherboard (Asus p8z68-v for 6.5k) from Jaydip Mori . Now the problem is that the PC doesn't shut down, the fan keeps running even after shutting down windows.
Also I can't update my drivers, whenever i update it the PC gets stuck and refuses to go past Windows loading screen. I believe it is a hardware problem, since I've tried reinstalling the OS(both Windows 7 & 10), tried different Ram and PSU and it still won't work properly. He says it's a software problem which is not covered under testing warranty which we agreed upon.
Sundeep asked me to raise a complain here, and he will do as the senior members decide. @hawk @johnjoyjoe

Re: Issue with a Deal in Erodov

Could be a software issue or a mobo issue. I suggest you try booting using a live OS like Ubuntu and try shutting down.

Can you stress test the cpu and see if it works ?

Tried stress test and seems to be fine. Maybe I can try stressing it for longer? But I still feel it's a mobo issue.

seems to be Mobo issue to me. Have tried different Windows OS, will try a live OS and share an update.

Already done, the first thing after hitting a problem was going to google! This came on top.

Yea sounds like mobo issue to me. Unless you are running Intel 530 ssd which might be crapping out on you.

Try another motherboard buddy , that should clear things up.

Try the processor on another working pc with a Sandy bridge processor, just swap the processors. Sounds like a motherboard issue .

Well that makes it simple, just ask jaydip for a replacement or a refund if you got any testing or doa warranty as I guess the manufacturer warranty must be over.

I haven't had a direct contact with Jaydip, I paid money to sundeep and he arranged everything. So lets see how this pans out!

I guess you should ask him to ask for replacement if the motherboard was defective when you received it.

If you reported the issue to jaydip via cramble when you received the Mobo you should receive a replacement or a refund. Try another processor on the motherboard to be absolutely sure.

Re: Issue with a Deal in Erodov

I spoke wid jay and reported issue to which jay said that he isnt gonna give any technical troubleshooting tips and said that mobo is working perfectly fine and the problem must be with some other component. I gave some common problem resolutions like csm enable in boot menu, ahci setting and connect hdd to sata 6gbps slot. I have just asked @me12345 that if he can give me any proof that mobo is at fault, he can send it back and we can check. If it is true, he can take his money back. To which @me12345 responded that he has had it with used components and wants his money back. I doubt that change of mind is covered under testing warranty or even manufacturer warranty.

What other kind of proof can i give you? I've literally changed almost every part and tried. I don't understand what else i can change? So if there's any other part in a pc that I can change, please let me know!
