Broadband in India - On the rise...

Hi guys,

was jus surfin on the Reliance Broadnet website as i wanted to change my tariff plan and behold!! i saw a plan which makes me think that Broadband scene in India is surely on the rise.

Here goes the Plan

10 Mbps ( u heard me rite)
Rs 1999 + taxes/month
10Gb transfer limit additional usage will be charged 0.90p/mb.

*Its available only in Metros and only through a cabled conexion and not Wimax which i have.

I know u wud say wats the point in just 10 Gb for 10 Mbps. but the point is not the transfer limit the point is that 10Mbps is huge speeds never seen by a home user in India. Atleast its better than Airtel giving 8mbps and just 4gb limit.

and knowing Reliance Broadnet it gives me awesome Dl and Ul speeds on a wimax conexion as well...Ad1tya wud agree.

Now i guess i have to say these r my modest speeds...

u c i m havin a 2mbps plan and i get 2411 Kbps...

Kudos to Reliance Broadnet

Who said?..

Tata still charges 3600+Taxes for 1mbps UL.

Atleast Reliance is taking it forward. Along with Airtel infact.

Give it 2-3 years. Well have 10mbps UL for an affordable price.
