Can anyone tell me how digital auto rickshaw meters are tampered in detail?

There are several ways that they do this. In most cases there is a switch under the drivers seat that is connected to the meter. Every time he presses, the pulse doubles. Now if he presses once he will get extra 75 paise. If he presses it four times, he gets three rupees more.

yeah,But can you tell me how this switch mechanism works, i mean how pulse rate doubles with switch pressing and where this switch wire goes in meter. I want more details in terms of hardware.

Go to an auto stand and ask them ;-)
As far as my guess goes its a simple push switch that is wired to the circut of the meter
