ASUS Warranty Info Needed


I have recently purchased a Maximus VI Gene from primeabgb. The board is manufactured on Sep'13 however. So I want to know whether I will get the full warranty from the date of purchase or do I lose out four months coz the warranty is calculated from the manufacture date?

If u have a bill then its calculated from purchase date. Else they will have to go by manf date unless u registered it on time at their website

Does having a known buggy revision of the chipset counts as critical problem? My board has the C1 revision of the Z87 chipset but asus' manufacturing records say that my board has been shipped out of the factory with C2 revision of z87. Had a discussion with Mr vinay shetty regarding this, he suggested to submit my board to the service center, and that he will coordinate with the service center guys to diagnose & verify my claim (I sent him my bios screen shot...meh). My concern is I have seen how mindless & careless these so called service center engineers are. I dont want them to attempt repairing of a brand new board & then screw it up...So I am not gonna submit my board to the service center unless I have the assurance that it will be replaced with a brand new one.
