Asus a7n266 vm + geforce 6600gt 256mb agp issue

ok....here i go

i hav an asus a7n266 vm motherboard 4x agp (plz check da specs on da asus site)

i hav an Big Geforce 6600gt 256mb Agp 8x graphics card wch downgrades actually to 4x i thnk coz it worked fine wit my msi ms 6367 motherboard wch was also a agp4x slot wala motherboard....but unfortunately all good things come to an end

ok now the problem was dat dis motherboard actually does not support many newer graphic cards like da 6 series or da 5 series as my frnd has da same motherboard & his fx 5600 agp card does not work wit dis motherboard

wat happens is dat it takes da generic drivers & detects....but as soon as u install da proper forceware drivers or da drivers given wit da graphic card cd....da pc begins 2 restart n sum weird screens come...
i even updated da bios frm da site...stil no avail
if u go back to onboard evrythin works fine...

now 1 of these asus guys gave me an revised bios wch actually made my motherboard detect da graphic card & also tak da forceware drivers....rite now i hav installed da latest drivers 93.xx & it works fine with no weird screens....

but once in a while wen playin counter strike da game will freeze for bout 10 secs....& den come back to normal...
at times it wil jus hang without givin BSOD & i hav 2 restart da pc
BSOD errors
once i got dis error sayin "infinite loop xxxxxxxxxx" "nv4_disp" or sumtin
once i got sum error sayin sum other nvidia ka driver...(dont remember wch)

once i got da power sentinel error sayin it wil power down blah blah shyt (dis came only once but wen i changed da power molex cable it became alrite)

btw i hav a powersafe VIp 450 watts smps
runnin 4 hdds (6gb + 80gb + 80gb + 160gb)
my graphic card also req external power...

dis all issues never came up in my msi motherboard wch also is base on da same chipset wit da same onboard specs etc. etc....

phew.....fingers painin ... now plz sumbody help.......i kno dis is long to read but den GOD wil Bless you

sadly there is no solution for this.

i myself had the same problem when i had those mobo's. tried 5 diff agp cards. same issue.. spend 2 weeks trying to find solution but couldnt. updated several bios's etc but no luck.

Nahiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ....................... even nvidia has no solution...XXX!!!!!! SUXXOORS......y do they make stupid drivers wch loop....bhikari ppl

try ATI cards.

wch card is of ATI (agp) is as good as da 6600gt agp 256mb
