Re: Advise on this Config

Graphic card???? Both the cabby and PSU IMO are excellent choices....Though depending on the graphic card you may go for a lower wattage power supply......I wont give mobo option, coz do not have much idea in the lower segment.......

Re: Advise on this Config

Lookout for 335, if u like the design
comes with front and rear 120mm slots, mesh design

and Transcend - look for Power rams

Onboard / graphic card to be added
Onboard - Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L
Excellent VFM board, moderate overclocking

Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L is the correct choice for mob. Your other part choices are correct. If it does not come under 21K..cut some money on HDD and PSU

Re: Advise on this Config

+ 1 to Wingy's config. what better and cheaper config than this possible, I would state that the Core 2 Duo is a nice choice as a processor but the overall package with the 790 gx chipset and onboard gfx does make it a better choice and having the option to unlock the quad core potential makes this an amazing vfm config.
think about it.

First thing, a 785G is cheaper than a 790FX. If your planning on to stay with a single card, than go with the DDR3 version of the 785G. Pair it with a PII 720X3 and some good DX11 card(when it comes out) and you will have one good rig.

See this guide for a low cost(err not really !) DDR3 rig:
Budget PC Buying Guide

It would cost almost 50% less to got with a DDR2 config.

IGP are not meant for current generation pc games. It will serve the general multimedia stuff like watching HD movies, pictures etc.

Hey my IGP ATI 3300 plays TF2 comfortably and pretty well.
So a good IGP can play games .
Only if you have rams to spare for it .
