| Re: 2nd Hand bikes in Mumbai.
^^ dude??? you serious? bike burning oil and engine being rebuilt by the company?? might as well buy a second hand bike, if you wanna get such work done. The workshop level of work, can not match the company's manufacturing and assembly of the engine. Even if it could, you think we have such workshops here??? the engine has gone for a toss, with changing the piston and the rings and the blocks, the crank balance, everything is messed up. They will never torque it right, and tighten the nuts to the company spec. Its done for.
And there have been instances of bikes not even having 100 ml of engine oil left in em, ( FZ ), whats to happen of the rest of the engine????
No way, if you have a engine oil consumption issue, better to look at a bike who's history is known. IF the filter is fitted correctly, its a bullet proof engine, but then dust will kill any engine.
